ENSR teaches in a genuinely dual-language French and English environment from the early years upward, leading towards the International Baccalaureate Diploma and the Swiss Maturité, with a French curriculum strand also offered. The bilingual model is woven through the school rather than treated as an add-on. Additional languages including German, Italian, Spanish and Mandarin extend the linguistic offer for older pupils.
The school combines a settled day population with boarding for international pupils, set in the residential surroundings above Lausanne. Pastoral organisation is structured around clearly defined sections, each with its own dean, giving families a recognisable point of contact. The result is a community that is sizeable yet sectioned for close support.
Activities span basketball, skiing, athletics, volleyball and windsurfing alongside theatre, robotics and coding, plus ski and windsurf camps that use the regional landscape.
Admission begins with a visit and a meeting with the director or the dean of the relevant section.
