JFK follows an international primary and middle-years programme for children up to around age 14, building global academic foundations in English. The intimate scale allows close attention to each child as they progress from early years through to the end of middle school. Teaching is delivered by a faculty of some 40 staff.
With roughly 100 pupils drawn from more than 23 nationalities, the school has a notably close-knit, family feel set in an Alpine village. Boarding and day children share daily life in a supervised, child-centred environment suited to younger pupils.
Mountain sports, outdoor learning, the arts and culture-and-travel programmes make full use of the Gstaad setting, with a summer camp also offered.
Admission follows a four-step process of online application, assessment, notification and formal enrolment.
