ISB is an authorised IB World School delivering all three International Baccalaureate programmes: the Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes, for pupils aged 3 to 19. Teaching is in English, with a dual-language English-German option in the Junior School. The 2024 IB Diploma cohort recorded a strong pass rate well above the worldwide average.

Student experience

With around 1,200 pupils representing more than 60 nationalities across its campuses, ISB is a sizeable and genuinely international community. Comprehensive counselling and university-advisory support accompanies pupils through their schooling.

Extra-curricular activities

The school fields some 50 athletics teams across a dozen sports, runs numerous music ensembles and concerts, and offers around 200 clubs and co-curricular activities, most free of charge.

Admission is by application, with a one-time development fee for new pupils in addition to tuition.
