Academic & learning environment

From the senior years, pupils choose between the Swiss Matura, the IB Diploma and an American-style high school diploma, building on a bilingual German-English primary and secondary programme. Small classes and a low pupil-to-teacher ratio allow programmes to be shaped around individual strengths. The school has been an IB World School since 1987.

Student experience

The hilltop setting above the town of Zug gives the school an unusually self-contained campus shared by day and boarding pupils. Boarding houses sit alongside the teaching buildings, and the small overall roll keeps the community close-knit. Mountain surroundings support an active, outdoor rhythm to the week.

Extra-curricular activities

Co-curricular life includes performing arts such as choir, drama and instrumental tuition, Model United Nations and a range of sports making use of the alpine location.

Admissions

Admission is by application to the school, with a refundable deposit payable on entry.

Our perspective

A strong option for families drawn to central Switzerland who want a German-English education with several recognised senior pathways under one roof.

Selecting the right school depends on a careful understanding of the student’s profile and long-term objectives — our advisory work focuses on aligning these elements.
