Academic & learning environment

Saint-Charles offers the bilingual French-English Swiss Maturité and the International Baccalaureate Diploma, alongside its own school-leaving diploma. Rooted in humanist and Christian values, it accompanies pupils from primary through to the threshold of university. The international section follows IBO standards.

Student experience

The school is a modest-sized community of around 225 pupils, of whom a portion board, giving it a personal scale and a strong pastoral tradition. A recently expanded boarding house has increased residential capacity for international families.

Extra-curricular activities

Boarders' life includes weekend activities, extended trips, day excursions and on-campus clubs as part of an all-inclusive residential package.

Admissions

Families apply directly to the school, which guides enrolment for both day and boarding places.

Our perspective

Families drawn to a smaller, values-led school in French-speaking Switzerland often respond to Saint-Charles's pastoral character.

Selecting the right school depends on a careful understanding of the student’s profile and long-term objectives — our advisory work focuses on aligning these elements.
