Pupils progress through IGCSE to the International Baccalaureate Diploma, in small classes (around twelve) with a low student-to-teacher ratio. The academic programme is structured and ambitious, set within a strong framework of expeditions and personal development.
A community of around 480 students from more than 65 nationalities, mostly boarding across ten houses. Signature meditation and mountain expeditions sit alongside skiing, sport, the creative arts and community service.
Aiglon's signature is its expeditions programme — regular treks in the surrounding Alps — together with meditation and a strong outdoor ethos. Pupils ski and snowboard in winter, take part in the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award, and engage in extensive community service, sport, music, drama and the arts.
Admission is selective, based on school reports and interview; given limited places, early enquiry is recommended.
